I do enjoy a good family feud story, and this book promised to bring some feuding and who doesn’t love a love story with a brewery as a backdrop, sounds like a good time for me (although I don’t drink beer I drink cider but hey that’s neither here nor there). So Miranda has returned to Salvation after a death in the family and inheriting the family brewery and she has every intention of turning things around for this business so that she can sell it to the company that she works for. Only it turns out that if she doesn’t get these deal to work out, she’s pretty much guaranteed to loss her job, something she is totally not willing to let happen. So she is willing to do whatever it takes to make this brewery work out for her. Only things aren’t going to be as easy as she thinks, it turns out some of the people who work at the brewery are not on board with her taking it over, and in fact were under the impression that they were going to be able to buy the place. Let’s just say there are several instances of a hostile work environment. It also turns out that the guy Miranda left behind when she left town, Logan, is the manager of the bank and he wants her property and lets just say the entire town is on his side and working against Miranda.
