First things first, I love best friends sister books, I love the whole inherently forbidden romance, where the stakes are high, the people involved could lose or damage their relationships with other people who are important to them by pursuing the romance. It just ups the suspense for me, and I love the theme in romance. So I was super excited about this book, well that and because I really enjoyed Tracy Wolff’s writing style in her other book Shattered, so I had my fingers crossed that her writing would hold up in a new book. I’m happy to say, I really enjoyed this book, and I enjoyed Tracy’s writing style just as much the second time around. I normally find the story about the normal woman meeting and ending up with a famous musician unbelievable, except in this case. So Jamison is the little sister of one of the guys in the band Shaken Dirty, a band that started with a group of guys who were childhood friends, so Jamison has a relationship with everyone in the bad, she’s like family to them already. And as it turns out she has had a major crush on Ryder for years. But she’s all grown up now, and after having the worst week (lost job, cheating boyfriend, total car) she and Ryder end up testing the waters.
