I really loved this book. When I picked it up to start reading it I had every intention of reading a couple of chapters and then getting some sleep. So did not work out that way, I read it in one sitting, and really enjoyed it. I love books that take place on ranches or farms, I think it’s because I’ve always wanted to end up living on a ranch with a bunch of horses in Montana. So I will point out that first off this book starts off with sadness, and throughout the course of the book this family has to deal with some serious heartache. When the book starts all of the family has returned home to bury their father, six daughters in total. I actually really loved the family aspect of this book. The relationships Harper has with her family, and also the fact that the hero in this story is also the guy who dated her sister for years. So yeah, talk about the makings for some awkward scenarios (oh and too make it worse, the sister in question seriously has some issues with Harper to begin with). So I liked Harper a lot. I honestly thought she was going to be a little bit to hippie for my liking based on some of the descriptions of her, but I really didn’t think she was all that hippie.
