Tell Me You Need Me by Joya Ryan

I am a huge fan of friends with benefits that turns into something more, so I went into this book pretty excited. One thing that was interesting about this book though was that instead of developing the friends with benefits relationship first, and then having it evolve into something more, this relationship was established before the book even started. So when the book starts you have Gage, our hero, looking for something more from Chloe, our heroine. Chloe is not at all interesting in the whole something more thing, but Gage is totally up for the challenge of changing her mind. So Gage is a search and rescue guy and he embodies the definition of masculine. He’s definitely a hot guy and he’s without a doubt a good guy. It was fun to watch the guy pursue the whole no-sex before relationship thing, I mean it’s normally something that is portrayed from the woman’s point of view. But Gage is at a stage in his life where he is finally realizing that he wants something more meaningful then casual. The thing about Gage though is that he is, I don’t know if I would call it an adrenaline junkie, but he definitely has some kind of complex that compels him to go forth on these search-and-rescue missions even when it puts him at serious risk.
