I loved this cover, so much so I bought the book without reading the blurb, well that and I knew I already liked Katy Evans. I’m really glad I ended up buying this book because I really did enjoy it. Normally I think the whole CEO thing is overplayed, but in this case I think it worked. Part of the reason why it worked was because our heroine, Olivia, has a family connection to our hero, Callan. It wasn’t like she was some doe eyed girl straight off the bus or something, while they may have never met before they still had ties to each other, like Callan is Olivia’s brothers best friend (another of my favorites things in books). Truth be told my least favorite part of the book was the beginning. Olivia came off as super naive in the first few chapters, not exactly unlikable, but a little on my nerves. Plus her older brother is like super over protective, which probably contributed to her naivety. But as soon as she started her job and met the hot guy on the roof she really came out of her shell, and suddenly I liked her a lot more. I know smoking is a terrible habit and all that jazz, but honestly sometimes a hot guy smoking a cigarette in the dark can be super hot, and Callan makes it super hot.
