Another book with a musician (I think I’m on a new obsession with musicians and motorcycle guys, but hey if it ain’t broke don’t fix it). So the big difference her for the musician theme is that the guy is not a rocker or a country star, no he’s a big deal in the hip-pop world, that’s right folks a rapper… sign me up! Okay so first things first, I love the way Mason and Ellie meet, I mean she’s literally climbing into the window of his rental house when she loses her skirt and he finds her a** up in his bathroom. No she isn’t some crazed fan, she works for the realtor company and thought the maid had locked the key inside the house, Mason wasn’t even suppose to be there. Definitely a great intro for me. So, things I like about Ellie. She’s smart. She’s super qualified. She’s a good person. She may have gotten some attention lately from a viral video, and while people might think less of her for the video, the fact of the matter is she was defending her own honor in the video, so mad props to her. She works hard. She doesn’t want money/attention/a job from anyone unless she has earned it. I loved that she was a strong woman.
