I picked up this book because I am a huge fan of the whole older brother’s best friend thing, I mean I love it, more than I love most storylines in romance. Of course this book has a bit of a BDSM theme to it, which for me can end up being hit or miss for me, this book definitely has some BDSM elements, but it’s not like super overwhelming or anything. So when the book opens we meet our heroine Macey. She is back in town after a breakup with her boyfriend, and oh do I feel for the girl, I mean walking in on your man with your much older landlord…well that’s kind of a kick in the pants if I have ever heard one. So Macey goes back to her hometown and the one guy who she really loved, the only guy to really get her blood pumping, Reece. Only of course Reece is her brother’s best friend, and even when they were involved before he never took it to far, and it was kept very secret. I don’t think Macey was in any way prepared to find what she did, her old love owning a BDSM club, that it turns out her brother is a member of. And basically the only way she is getting close the guy she wants again is to get him to agree to give her lessons in BDSM. It’s like a recipe for disaster.
