I have to admit that this book made me hungry, I want to eat at the restaurant in this book, seriously I want there to be a Cups down the street from me, I would eat there all the time. If you read this book and don’t get the least bit hungry then I think there might be something wrong with you. I think I might have mentioned this before, but I have never really thought of myself as a hockey fan, I’m a girl with a baseball obsession, but hockey in books just completely works for me, no idea why. Maybe it’s the hot, hunky, incredibly well muscled men that do it for me. I kind of adored Calder, okay more than adored, I really liked him. He comes home to visit his mother while recovering from a knee injury and meets Becca on the plane, turns out they knew each other when they were growing up, and lets just say Calder might not have been the best of kids to Becca when they were growing up. But boy does he make up for it in this book. I think part of what I loved about this book was it wasn’t just the story of how two people got together, there was so much more than that, there was the falling for each other, maintaining a long distance relationship, moving to work things out, working out differences with money and career, etc. I loved the realism of the characters.
