I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting this book to be. I mean of course I read the blurb, or more likely just glanced at it. The thing is all I really need to see if the whole best friends sibling thing and I’m pretty much guaranteed to pick up the book. I think what was most interesting about this blurb is the the whole dossier thing. This is the second book in the series so I assume in the first book they outline what the dossier is in more detail, or at least how they came to make the pact, but what I worked out was that a group of friends each picked a name and on the birthday of the name picked they would make a dossier of activities for that person to do all arranged for. I think it was a way to give their friend a great experience while also pushing them outside of their own boundaries, and honestly if anyone needed to be pushed outside of their boundaries it was Kennedy. So Kennedy is museum curator in Chicago and she seems to pretty much have no life. She lives in her own well crafted bubble. So when he dossier sends her to London and tells her that they have arranged for her to be a stripper for a night at one of the most exclusive gentlemen clubs in the city, well let’s just say she’s not exactly on board.
