If I Stay by Tamara Morgan

I totally liked this book, this book was actually on my wish list for quite some time before the opportunity to review it came my way. I don’t know if it was the cover that spoke to me or if it was two people both at kind of a crossroads in their lives coming to live and work for an insanely wealthy family. I liked Amy, I liked Amy a lot. She’s just so carefree and sweet and kind, and she really just sees the best in everyone. She goes out of her way to be kind to people and to involve people in activities and just her life in general. She’s the nanny at the manor and she is so good with the kids, you can kinda tell that she’s one of those people whose happiness would be infectious. That being sad Amy is also pretty unsure of herself and her path in life, she came back to the manor where she grew up and took over her mom’s old job because her “path” as a dancer just wasn’t working out. Like Amy, Jake is also unsure about how his life is going to turn out. A mistake at his old job being a stunt driver resulted in the loss of his career, and now he spends his days washing his bosses cars and driving him around, hardly the glamorous life he used to live in.
