And Then Forever by Shirley Jump

I really do love a great second chance romance, especially when the two people in question started their relationship when they were young. I think for me I like seeing how and if too people can still work as a couple after years have changed them and they have grown into adults. Plus this book also have that small town romance feel to it, so I was excited to read it. I read this book in one sitting, and I think the main reason why was because I really liked Darcy, she was hands down my favorite character in the book. She left home when she was young and started a life for herself on the island she always dreamed of living on. What I like about Darcy is that she has been able to maintain such a good attitude when it would have been easy to let the stress of being a single mother get her down. She’s so grateful for her life, and you could tell how much she loves the people she has in her life, and she’s done such a great job of building herself a family. She’s a good person, and a good mom. I tend to have a hard time sometimes with mothers who don’t tell the dad that she was pregnant, but honestly I can understand the decision she made.
