So I got this book on Kindle Unlimited one night when I was looking for something to read. Honestly, the title appealed to me, I are blunt, I’m a blunt person in real life so this is my kind of title. Plus after reading the blurb I knew I would be on board with two best friends with entering into a friends with benefits relationships, I love those in books. I don’t think I was prepared for the more darker turn the book took, but darker themes never bother me in, part of real life and all that. So Liv and Luke are best friends, and they have one of those great relationships where they are completely comfortable with each other and really have a good understanding of each other. Luke is actually a really interesting character, I think I definitely liked him a lot more then I liked Liv. He’s very much so a free spirit, he basically spends his life surfing but yet never wants to be signed, money is not something that motivates him. He does have a kind of tortured vibe to him, like something happened to him in his past (and it did). In the beginning when the whole friends with benefits thing happened Luke was actually very concerned because he thinks of himself as like something is wrong with the desires he has for the bedroom.
