Seized By Love by Melissa Foster

Gods knows college can be a seriously pricey endeavor, so I thought it was really interesting how Lizzie put herself through college. And now that her little sister needs money for college, Lizzie has turned her college endeavor into the Naked Baker web series, which you can tell right from the beginning that Lizzie isn’t super excited about doing. I really thought this was an interesting way to start a book, and I really wanted to see where were going with Lizzie’s side job, and how she stays out of relationships because of it. So I really liked the whole romance in this book, and I really liked the hero in the story Blue. First off he has an awesome and unique name, but he is also super hot and a very handy guy to have around in a pinch. But he’s also so much more than that. He really wears his heart on his sleeve, and it’s so cute to see how much he really likes our heroine, Lizzie.I liked how persistent he is in getting the girl he likes so much. But overall, I just thought he was a really nice guy, someone who cares a lot about the people around him, especially his family. He’s just so easy to like. As for our heroine, well like I said earlier, she an inventive girl, especially when it comes to making sure everything she and her sister need get paid for. I loved how smart she is and that […]

Seaside Nights by Melissa Foster

This book really has all the makings of a book I would like. It has a girl who likes tattoos (my kinda girl), a guy who is inked up as well as being a musician and a boxer, and a nice seaside setting. I really liked the beginning of the book, with all the descriptions of the area and the people who live there, it is definitely easy to get drawn into the book early on. So the heroine in this story is Sky, and I liked her kind of artsy spirit. I like women who own businesses, and I like women who are in the tattoo world even more (there aren’t nearly as many of them as their should be). Tattoos and tattoo artists are some of my favorite people/things, so I was pretty sure I was going to like Sky from the beginning. I loved the description of her shop too, the way she decorates and the approach she takes to living her life all show a lot about who she is as a person. I have to admit though I am not a fan of poetry and Sky loves one particular poet, so a lot of this book has bits of poetry within it, and honestly it’s not my cup of tea. But then again I most of the time don’t like in musician books where they write out the lyrics to the songs, just not my thing, I tend to skim over them. I honestly wanted Sky […]
