I really enjoyed reading some of this authors work in the past, so when I saw this book on Kindle Unlimited, I knew this would be a book I wanted to try out. I also seem to be reading a lot of books that are the second in a series, but without a doubt this is a standalone, so feel free to pick it up and enjoy it on its own. I like Natalie, first, and foremost, I totally liked her. I liked that she was so driven, and how she goes after what she wants. I mean this woman is kind of my hero, she wanted to own a bakery, so she opened one all on her own. She wanted to own a cute house of her own, and she bought it all on her own, and more than that she plans on fixing it up on her own. Yes, she has a boyfriend, but he is like the least helpful of guys, and worse than that he’s a serious skeeze ball. So when I psychic tells her that everything is going to change when a man who’s names she doesn’t even know is going to upend her life, well let’s just say she is not at all inclined to believe it.
