One Night with Her Ex by Lucy King

I actually loved the concept of this, two people who were once together, hell, once married, and then years later reconnecting. I think everyone can relate to being with someone at one point in their life and then wondering what would have happened if the two of you could have worked through whatever was wrong in the relationship. So Kit and Lily have long since divorced, Lily not really looking for love and is more in protection mode than anything else, and Kit, well Kit has some performance issues which apparently are more psychological than physical issue. So Kit wants to get this problem fixed (what man wouldn’t want to have performance issues fixed as quickly as possible) so he goes straight to the source, Lily. To say the first time they see each other after such a long absence resulted in an awkward sexual encounter might be a bit of an understatement. I liked that though, it read as real. It’s clear from their first conversation with each other that their marriage had real issues, fertility issues, cheating issues, complete lack of communication, so it’s no wonder that they ended. But that one night was enough for Kit to realize that the heat that was always between them, was still very much there, and Lily felt it too.
