It was easy to see from the book blurb that this book contains subject matter that not everyone is going to be on bored with. I know a lot of people have issues with cheating in books, but honestly as long as it makes sense for the characters and is well written I’m open to anything that happens in real life. So I wasn’t upset with the cheating aspect of the story, but at the same time I really didn’t enjoy the story itself. So Sadie has been married to Nathan for a while and they are very happy, until one day out of nowhere her husband who used to be 100% devoted to her and making her happy basically kind of just stops. He goes out, gets drunk, doesn’t really talk to her anymore, when they are in the same room he doesn’t even really seem to even try. The whole thing is weird, especially to Sadie who doesn’t understand what happened to her very loving relationship. Enter Finn, the new next door neighbor who you can tell right off the bat is interested in Sadie, and is more than a little disappointed when he finds out that she is married, he’s also keen to point out that her husband’s behavior is odd.
