One Night With a Quarterback by Jeanette Murray

I was actually quite happy with this book, and I haven’t always been a fan of books where the guy is a famous athlete, but this really just worked for me. I think because there was so much more going on than just girl meet famous athlete and then they end up together. There was actually a lot of emotional stuff going on for the characters, and Cassie has no idea that her new boy toy was actually a famous quarterback (turn out she’s more into CPU strength then which guy throws the furthest). Cassie, I really liked, she is just so down to earth and such a genuinely nice person. But honestly the first thing that stuck out to me was that she was confident in herself and in her body. A lot of times you see authors write that the girl is pretty but yet she is still uber self confident and she needs the guy to bolster her self-esteem. This is not an issue Cassie had. She was always just Cassie, no doubt about it. When she meets her family for the first time she’s instantly patient with her new little sisters, and she lets her stepmom be a bully to her because she cares about her sisters.
