I can’t believe it but my 10 year high school reunion has come and gone, so when I read the synopsis of this book, I knew I wanted to read it, I mean these characters actually went to their reunion so I was pretty much on board right from the beginning. I loved the idea of having two people who knew each other in high school, people who both had feelings for each other, but never really worked out, giving things a second go round ten years later. So when the book starts we have Cammie working at a radio station, when the radio hosts drag her into the booth to grill her about her 10 year reunion. The only thing is the hosts have no idea how the only reason why Cammie is going is so that she can see Dalton again, that is if he shows up. Cammie is a sweet girl, and she is just so easy to like. I mean she really is the whole girl next door persona, and she does it so genuinely that you just can’t help but want her to get her happily ever after. Cammie does have some serious heartache in her past that definitely comes to haunt her when it comes time for her to try and build a relationship with Dalton.
