I was actually surprised at how much I seriously enjoyed this book, sometimes when I social networking is used in books I feel like its more of a gimmick then an actual plot device, but in this book it not only worked but the whole twitter persona made me laugh and really enjoy parts of the book. As always with these Cosmo reads, this is a short novella, so if you are looking for a shorter romance this might be your book. So Tally is being set up on a blind dates, she even has a twitter feed for it, that apparently is both hilarious as well as has a lot of followers. Only the blind date she’s on in the beginning of the book is with a gay guy. I love how awesome the guy is though, he’s funny and charming, and totally willing to help Tally turn what could have been a seriously awkward situation into something she actually enjoys. He asks her what she likes/wants in a man, thinks of the perfect guy, and then arranges for the two of them to meet. When Tally and Brent it’s like fireworks start shooting, the chemistry between them is really awesome, and the date portion of the night doesn’t take very long, they can’t wait to get their hands on each other.
