Hockey is really not my favorite sport at all, really the only way I ever enjoy hockey is if I am actually there in person. So I was really surprised when I read a romance book where the hero was a hockey player, I absolutely loved it. Since then I have been on the lookout for any and all hockey books, and I have to say that I really enjoyed this one. I think maybe hockey romance books are going to end up being one of my favorite themes. So the book starts out with Sara turning up unexpectedly pregnant, her life suddenly changes completely. On top of all of that she is basically responsible for keeping her father in good health. Her father has had some health issues, and he is not one to listen to the doctors advice, so Sara is basically in charge of trying to keep her father’s stress level down and living a health lifestyle, but his job is high stress and he’s not so good at listening. So when her father ends up having a heart attack, it’s easy to see how Sara would be in a tough spot emotionally. Cam is a great guy, a great hero for this book. He is not one of those guys who can just sleep around, or at least not when it comes to Sara. He steps up as the father of her child, even though he isn’t the father, and I kind of love that about […]
