So part of the reason why I like the KU program is that it gives me the chance to try out new authors and books I wouldn’t normally try out. This was my first Belle Aurora book, and I wasn’t really sure what to expect. The reason why I picked up this book was the whole, I fell in love with my stalker component. I’ve read a lot of books where a stalker is involved, but honestly the stalker always ends up trying to kill the heroine, not the heroine falling in love with the stalker. So this was a new element for me, and I love new stuff. So this book takes place in Australia, once again, making me want to go to Australia. Our heroine is Alexa, and she is basically a social worker, and a pretty good one at that. You can tell she cares about all of the kids who come her way, she really wants to do right by them, especially because it’s something she can identify with, having grown up in a hard household and running away when she was in her teens. The funny thing is she is well aware that she has a stalker, she seems him all the time (so clearly he isn’t very subtle), but she doesn’t say anything to anyone about him, and he doesn’t really frighten her.
