So from the cover of this book I was expecting there to be like a big time musician, but I have to say I was happy there wasn’t when it came to this story. So I think part of what appealed to me about this book is that it is primarily about a woman who is basically starting her life over, a very tragic event happened to her and she needed to push the reset button on her life. I love stories where people are building their lives back up from scratch, I think it’s incredibly hard thing to do, to abandon a life that isn’t fulfilling you anymore and go on a different path, this characters are always so much more compelling to me. So Molly is in a tough spot. Her fiance has died and she is in law school basically going through the motions. She is having nightmares every night, and having a really hard time putting the death/tragedy of her fiance’s untimely passing behind her. So one day in the middle of class she just walks out and decides to move back to her childhood home. Her family has all left their small town behind, so it’s just Molly on her own. You can tell right off the bat that she is in a lot of pain, and she is trying her best to put on a front for everyone, to make them believe that she is just fine.
