I'd dated his brother.

He didn’t remember and I wish I could forget.

I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.

Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.

Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.

When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?

I’m a big fan of K.A. Linde, I like her writing style, and the stories she tells, so this book was a forgone conclusion for me to buy. I was actually pretty excited about the whole dating a guy whose brother you already dated, I mean come on, we can all agree it’s like a recipe for disaster right? Sign me up, yes please.

First and foremost can I just say I really liked Emery. I don’t know why exactly, I just know that from the moment the book started I liked her. I think it’s because she walked away from a life that wasn’t making her happy, and of course from a jerk boyfriend who was cheating on her. So Emery heads back home to figure out what is going to come next. I really liked her sister, who she moves in with and her best friend. So of course her best friend drags her to a wedding, a Wright wedding, and that’s where she meets Jensen. Oh Jensen. I can understand why Emery was apprehensive about going to the wedding and getting back involved with the Wright family, obviously one Wright in particular left some scars on her heart.

Jensen was pretty likable, he’s a rich, hot, nice guy. What’s not to like? I liked that he is a really good older brother. I mean he looks out for them the best that he can. I liked how the family stuck together, they didn’t always agree with each other, and maybe they didn’t like who some of them dated, but they were still there for each other and always made an effort to show up. I will say that I didn’t really by into Jensen all the time. I mean he liked Emery a lot, really quickly, even when he was already pretty jaded about relationships, so it was kinda out of character for him to be so into her without really even knowing her. There were a couple of instances of this throughout the book, but overall I liked him.

I did feel like Emery and Jensen fit together pretty well, but I did wish that they had more heat between them. Don’t get me wrong they had some great scenes and their physical relationship worked, but I guess I was hoping for more chemistry when they weren’t in the bedroom. I did enjoy when the brother showed up and found out about their relationship, it did make things interesting. Also can we seriously talk about the ex’s crazy wife, I mean come on, I almost wanted to see more of her. I am looking forward to see where this family goes next in the series.
