He knows just how to make her forget her fear of flying...a new sexy story from USA TODAY bestselling author Jennifer Blackwood...
As an Air Marshal, I have two rules: keep everyone safe and always remain professional. But when I take a seat next to the hot blonde in 7B, I can only promise one of those things.
Abby Winters and her uptight librarian attire are more than a little distracting. And when she grabs onto me during turbulence--all bets are off.
A mile-high hookup is great, but what happens when we land and neither one of us wants to walk away...
I’m not sure why, but I love the idea of a hot air marshal, maybe I’m just a weirdo. I seriously love flying, I’m also one of those super weird people who love airports and will often fly out of my way so I can have connections in my favorite airports. Needless to say the whole idea of romance and flying peaked my interest in this book.
So you meet Abby and Gage right off the bat. I think I was expecting these two to have like a cute little conversation or something and then meet up later or something, boy oh boy was I wrong. So Abby is without a doubt a nervous flyer, I think she may even be more nervous flying then my mom, and that’s saying something. It does result in some accidental grabbing of Gage and some fun little conversation. But when Abby finally settles in and goes to working on the set research she has to do by watching a “Fifty Shades” type movie, well Gage gets all kinds of hot and bothered, and we actually get some hot scenes while up in the air.
I liked this couple a lot, they seem really comfortable with each other even though they just met each other. They have good banter, and Gage knows how to dirty talk for sure. I also liked how independent and confident Abby is, she always seems to be in control and is one of those hyper organized people, but somehow Gage allows her to let down her guard and let him take charge. They only plan on having one night together, but a snow storm results in the two of them sticking around in the hotel and having more time with each other, getting to know each other, having cute little moments in the snow, and oh did I mention some seriously hot and sexy times together?
This book was a quick read for me, but it was a fun read. The characters were so easily likable, and it was easy to want good things for them and for them to be together, they also had great chemistry both inside and outside of the bedroom, something I really appreciated. I would definitely read another book by this author in the future.
