Prince Albert is a royal prick.

He’s the most famous one on the planet – wealthy, gorgeous, and a notorious playboy. He’s also the most conceited, insufferable, arrogant man I’ve ever met.

Did I mention he’s a freaking prince? An actual, real life Prince Not-So-Charming.

He’s tattooed and pierced, too. Prince Albert has a Prince Albert piercing. That's right – he's pierced you-know-where. Allegedly. I’ve never seen it.

My mother is marrying a king. Being a princess is every girl’s fantasy, right?

Except that means Albie is my new stepbrother.

Oh, and one more thing -- I accidentally married him.

We’re keeping the biggest secret on the planet.

Ever heard the fairy tale about the Princess and her stepbrother?

Yeah, I didn’t think so.

I’m royally screwed.

I feel like this book is the best guilty pleasure. I like my romances to have some element of forbidden in them, a little on the dirty side, with some kind of fun elements that normally raises the stakes. Well this book had it all. The guy she drunken marries in Vegas turns out not only to be her soon to be stepbrother, but he’s also a legitimate price, like for real. Add in the fact that he is the resident bad boy, who let’s just say the book title makes sense for and it results in a really fun and enjoyable book for me.

I loved the forbidden romance aspect of this book, all the sneaking around that these two did. I mean their parents were never going to be on board with these two having any kind of relationship, and let’s just say we all know how to media loves a scandal, so basically almost the entire novel is a secret romance. But what also made this book so much fun to read is how on the fence Belle is when it comes to new stepbrother Albie. She fights her attraction to him as much as she can. But the chemistry is off the charts with these two, and let me tell you these two heat up the page. But even better than that Albie actually really helps Belle start to kind of step out of the demure girl shell she put herself in.

And don’t get me started on Albie, I loved him. I like a good bad boy. But Albie isn’t really a bad guy, sure he basically thinks with his man bits, but he’s not out to hurt anyone, everyone knows that they are getting with him. Albie is a very kinky guy when it comes to between the sheets time, and I love watching him open Belle up to new experiences. I also really liked the way that Albie genuinely cares for her from almost page one, I mean he’s confused by it, but it doesn’t change the fact that he does care about her. She’s in a new environment, completely out of her elements and being expected to act like a royal all of a sudden, and Albie does everything he can to make sure she feels comfortable.

There are some interesting secondary characters in this book, like Albie’s little sister, who totally needs to have her own book. This girl has a serious thing for her body guard and she likes to do things to get his attention which is always fun. But the secondary character that takes the cake for me is Belle’s mom. Man that lady has a set on her. I mean she is just, well kind of ruthless. I hated the way she expected Belle to value herself somewhat less, I mean she actively encourages her daughter to take back a man who cheater her and who her daughter wants nothing to do with. She pushes her daughter into situations she isn’t comfortable in all because she wants to have a certain lifestyle and be perceived in a certain way. I wanted to punch that lady, but some of the best parts of the book are seeing how Belle and Albie react to things.

I know stepbrother romances are kind of a guilty pleasure (I love them, don’t care, totally do), but even if it’s not your thing, this one might appeal to you, as they really don’t have any kind of sibling connection or even have meet each other before being well into adulthood. So if you are just looking for an interesting romance, with a freaky bad boy hero, who just happens to be a prince, then without a doubt you should check out this book.
