The rules: no kissing on the mouth, no staying the night, no telling anyone, and above all… No falling in love.

Anna Jones just wants to finish college and figure out her life. Falling for star quarterback Drew Baylor is certainly not on her to do list. Confident and charming, he lives in the limelight and is way too gorgeous for his own good. If only she could ignore his heated stares and stop thinking about doing hot and dirty things with him. Easy right?

Too bad he’s committed to making her break every rule…

Football has been good to Drew. It’s given him recognition, two National Championships, and the Heisman. But what he really craves is sexy yet prickly Anna Jones. Her cutting humor and blatant disregard for his fame turns him on like nothing else. But there’s one problem: she's shut him down. Completely.

That is until a chance encounter leads to the hottest sex of their lives, along with the possibility of something great. Unfortunately, Anna wants it to remain a hook up. Now it’s up to Drew to tempt her with more: more sex, more satisfaction, more time with him. Until she’s truly hooked. It's a good thing Drew knows all about winning.

All’s fair in love and football…Game on.

Oh my goodness, I am completely and utterly in love with this book. I have to admit that I have read this book probably three or four times in the past 30 days, I almost never reread books, but this book totally breaks the tradition for me. I cant wait to read more of this series, because the writing in this book is really what sold me.

I adored Anna’s character in this book, she is really the driving force of this relationship. Yes Drew wants Anna, but she is the one holding all the cards, which I adore, because quite frankly I am tired of romances where the woman is completely being led around by a guy. Anna is a strong girl, and she’s smart, and well just kinda awesome.

Drew is a big time football player, which I have to admit was not something I was expecting to enjoy. I don’t know about you, but I was kind of expecting Drew to end up being a entitled jerk, but as it turns out he is just a normal guy who has had some seriously hard life experiences that have changed the way he acts and looks at the world. I loved that he followed Anna’s led and never pushed to hard, but I also really loved that when Anna was still following her rule of no kissing, that it actually really hurt him, and he wanted to be more to her then just this guy that she was hooking up with.

I have to say one of the things that I really loved about this book was that the writing was so awesome that it really just pulled you right into it and into the moment. The author writes totally amazing scenes, not just the steamy scenes (there’s an awesome one in a car that you seriously have to read), but there are great moments when Anna and Drew have a fight and you just get totally lost in it, or how easy it is to imagine yourself hanging out with their sets of friends. Pacing in the book is awesome, I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to read more of this authors work, and I completely recommend this book to anyone who likes new adult books, go buy it now.

About Kristen Callihan

Kristen Callihan is a child of the 80’s, which means she’s worn neon skirts, black-lace gloves, and combat boots (although never all at once) and can quote John Hughes movies with the best of them. A life long daydreamer, she finally realized that the characters in her head needed a proper home and thus hit the keyboard. She believes that falling in love is one of the headiest experiences a person can have, so naturally she writes romance. Her love of superheroes, action movies, and history led her to write historical paranormals. She lives in the Washington D.C. area and, when not writing, looks after two children, one husband, and a dog — the fish can fend for themselves.
