Wedding hookups never amount to anything.

Those who partake in this wicked little activity know the rules. Get in. Get laid. Get out. There's no expectation of a relationship. It is what it is.

Dylan Sparks knows the rules. She’s familiar with the protocol. And she engages in the best sex of her life with a complete stranger at her ex-boyfriend’s wedding.

Reese Carroll doesn’t care about the rules. He wants more than just one night with Dylan. And he’s too addicting to pass up.

Sweet Addiction is the story of one girl’s struggle to keep things casual, and one boy’s desire to never let her go.

I will admit that the reason I looked at this book was because I kind of fell in love with the cover, yes yes, I know, don’t judge a book by its cover, but I couldn’t help it, it was all sparkly and I love sparkly. That being said I loved the book about a million times more then I loved the cover, it was just so awesome and wonderful, and I never wanted it to end (BRING ON THE SEQUEL)!

So the book basically starts with Dylan attending the wedding of her ex-boyfriend with her gay best friend (who is also her employee at the bakery she owns). Of course this a tad bit on the awkward side. That is until she falls into the lap of tall, dark, and yummy. Needless to say Dylan has her mind on one things and one thing only, hooking up the the yummy guy, so some no strings attached wedding fun times. The scene that happens in the men’s bathroom is pretty epic, hot and steamy, and totally more than Dylan or Reese could have imagined. So of course that means it can’t end there.

Dylan doesn’t want a relationship (for reasons you will find out) and comes up with all the rules for their between the sheets only relationship, like no sleep overs, no fun times in a bed, you know standard I’m not getting to involved rules. I think it’s actually pretty funny how much Dylan clings to this non-relationship title. But even so, I really loved Dylan. She’s an awesome character. She’s full of life, has great friends, is a good person, is strong, independent, and just fun to read in general. Yes she’s like every other girl on the planet and insecure about certain things, but she’s identifiable and easy to read. I connected with her right off the bat.

I liked Reese too. He is kind of adorable all while being alpha male at the same time. He sends Dylan these adorable packages and notes, it’s just too cute for words. He calls her love too, and I love that. I liked that he was willing to give up so much of the control in the relationship because he wants Dylan in his life in whatever way she is willing to give him. There are some definite misunderstandings between the two of them, but never let it be said that Reese doesn’t fight for Dylan, and how can you not love that.

My favorite part I think has to be at the end with the bet, it’s kind of the perfect culmination of everything that had gone on throughout the book, all the ups and downs, and it all comes down to a huge group of friends and one bet (you’ll understand when you read the book). I seriously loved this book. It was steamy in more ways than one, great chemistry not just between the H and h, but also between the friends in the book, they all just play off each other so well. It was so easy to get lost in this book and never want to put it down, great pacing, great story. Everyone should pick up this book immediately, cause it rocks.
